There is really no disadvantage to accredited online degree programs. They are a convenient alternative to attending a traditional college. Another major benefit to getting an online degree is that most companies offer a tuition reimbursement program so you can collect most of your tuition back once you have obtained your accredited online degree. It is important that you check with your employer to find out what percentage that they offer as the amounts differ with each company.
